Anne Doughty - Company Director

Director Anne’s experience in the function, wedding and corporate catering business spans more than 30 years. Her first business, Fleur Catering gave Auckland its earliest alternatives to 1980’s buffet fare. The company’s high quality, creative cuisine set a new industry standard, a characteristic she continued in new venture, Urban Gourmet. Anne is highly respected by clients and colleagues for her uncompromising standards in creating exquisite food and delivering exceptional service. With Anne at the helm, it’s easy to see why Urban Gourmet stands apart from the rest.


David Doughty - Company Director

David has more than 30 years of experience within the hospitality and travel industries in New Zealand, Australia, USA and UK.  He has played a key role in developing the Urban Gourmet business since formation in 1999 covering sales, marketing, key clients and supplier relationships, monitoring and ensuring the consistent delivery of fine food and service. 


Blair Jagusch - General Manager

After working for over four years in the United Kingdom, Blair decided to return to New Zealand, bringing with him international experience and expertise from managing large scale events from 20-30,000 people and teams of up to 400.  During his career Blair received recognition for his organisational and event management skills.  One of his most recent accolades was being named in the UK A-List of the top 35 events professionals under the age of 35.  In the past few years Blair produced a yearly event named Skyfest for 30,000 people, this event was awarded Best Outdoor Event at the Event Magazine's UK Event Awards beating 8 other finalists in 2010.


Vicki Johns - Office Manager/ Executive Assistant

Vicki brings to the role a background in both hospitality and administration with a career spanning over 30 years, Vicki’s background in restaurants has seen her working in some of New Zealand’s top restaurants. Vicki managed her own manufacturing business that was active throughout New Zealand and Australia. With administration and strong customer service skills these will bring a strength to her role. Vicki has a passion for cooking and entertaining and an active volunteer for the National Youth Theatre company.


Sally Tau - Event and Operations Director

From a young age Sally has been passionate about every aspect of the hospitality industry. She’s a qualified chef, but developed a taste for delivering perfect occasions. She spent a number of years running operations for Fashion Week, bringing top level project management experience to her role at Urban Gourmet.


Amy Hodson - Account Manager

Originating from Derbyshire in England,  Amy is now settled and loving New Zealand!  In the UK she organised unique tours for small groups (everywhere from Iceland to Mexico) and she also co-ordinated tailor-made 'Round the World Trips' for young adults.  With her superb attention to detail, Amy spent her first year at Urban Gourmet working in the role of Event Co-ordinator and become intrinsic to the co-ordination of each event.  She has now moved into the role of Account Manager, liaising closely with our venues and clients, bringing all your information together to make the event a memorable experience. 


Mairead Cornille - Corporate Coordinator

Mairead has a vast array of hospitality experience and as a result, the type of customer service skills that will win anyone over!  Originally from Hamilton, Mairead studied Business in Christchurch before moving to Auckland, where she fine tuned her front of house skills at inner city cafes.  Mairead joined the Urban Gourmet team as Barista at one of our corporate cafes and quickly progressed to her role as Corporate Coordinator, where her aptitude for organisation works alongside her passion for food to create delish menus for our corporate clients.


Olivia Yule - Events Assistant

Olivia has a passion for events, with a background and strong interest in performing arts. Olivia  pursued her performing arts career in both NZ and the USA. On her return to NZ, Olivia has settled in Auckland and works part time in the events team while completing her degree in Event Management. Olivia brings a love for organisation and creativity.


Grant Williams - Head Chef

Grant has been a chef his whole life. He started young, training in the French style of cooking in restaurants around Auckland and in Sydney. He then returned to New Zealand to expand his repertoire from fine dining into flight catering for Air NZ and later in hotel kitchens. Since joining Urban Gourmet, he’s loved the opportunity to cook delicious food in a culture of high standards and professionalism. On the weekends, Grant enjoys windsurfing, reading and, of course, sharing delicious food and wine with friends.


Bradman Harris - Events Chef

Bradman has recently joined the Urban Gourmet team as Events Chef, he brings a strong backgound with a wealth of experience in top restaurants including Cin Cin on Quay and The French Cafe.  Originally from Australia, Bradman has spent time in both Melbourne and Sydney and choose to settle in New Zealand five years ago.  Creative flare and a passion for high quality food inspire Brandman's fantastic menu design and dish creation, which, if we are lucky we sometimes get to taste test!
